emPlant

Extensive analysis tools, statistics, and charts let users evaluate different manufacturing scenarios and make fast, reliable decisions in the early stages of production planning.

Enterprise Dynamics

Enterprise Dynamics is an object-oriented software application used to model, simulate, visualize, and control business processes. Most notably, a complete simulation model can be built and simulated in a full VR environment.

Flexsim is a Windows®-based, object-oriented simulation environment for modelling discrete-event flow processes like manufacturing, material handling, and office workflow.

gPROMS

gPROMS' modelling, simulation, and optimisation capabilities are used to generate high-quality information for model-based decision support in process and product design and process operations.

HCADWin

HCADwin is a program for drawing, printing and executing logic, and control. An additional, simple language can be used to simulate a process. These elements are used in building trainings simulators.

ML Designer

MLDesigner is an integrated platform for modelling and analyzing the architecture, function, and performance of high level system designs - either as a standalone system or as a system operating in the context of larger systems and scenarios (i.e., missions). Primary domains include Discrete Event, Dynamic Data Flow, and Synchronous Data Flow. These primary domains are augmented by two sub domains (Finite State Machine and Higher Order Functions). A new Continuous Time/Discrete Event domain for analogue and mixed signal designs is now available in the Experimental Library, along with early prototypes for other domains.

ProModel is discrete event simulation software, used for evaluating, planning, or designing manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and other operational and strategic situations.

ReThink

ReThink, by GenSym, is a simulation tool for Business process Reengineering. ReThink supports the business process lifecycle from as-is analysis, to design of new processes, and it also supports the 'in-the loop' implementation within an online automation platform. It can run on a standard Windows-based machine. Not much information is available on the website, which requires the user to register to access extra documentation. No demo available. My suggestion is to contact the software maker, in case you are interested.

Schedula

SCHEDULA is a general purpose package for the discrete simulation of cascaded activities (as in shop floor simulation). The innovative feature is that activities compete for (possibly scarce) shared resources (typically people) that can be allocated according to several strategies.

ShowFlow

ShowFlow Simulation is designed to model, simulate, animate, and analyse processes in logistics, manufacturing, and material handling. The software will show you the throughput of a production system; identify bottlenecks, measure lead times, and report utilisation of resources.

SIMAS II® is devoted to the simulation of industrial mass-production installations in the fields of automated assembly and food packaging.
